CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital is a recognized leader in health care for Southwest Louisiana, providing comprehensive health and wellness services. Since opening in 1908, this 392-bed acute care facility has been dedicated to improving the health of the community, embracing the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of each patient.

St. Patrick's Regional Heart Center is the busiest heart program in the area, providing non-invasive diagnostic services, interventional catheterization procedures such as percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, stents and pacemaker implantation, open-heart surgery, cardiovascular rehabilitation, and research programs. It is no surprise the heart team has been recognized nationally for its cardiac care.

Since 1981, the Regional Cancer Center has provided multidisciplinary cancer care, including radiation therapy, cancer surgery, chemotherapy, outpatient treatment, research, education and support.

With state-of-the-art minimally invasive technology, the hospital's skilled Surgical Services team provides innovative general surgery procedures, including the gastric bypass procedure for treatment of severe obesity.

The Behavioral Health Services staff provides services that meet a critical need in the community, treating problems such as abuse, aging, alcohol, anxiety, crisis intervention, depression, drugs, family, parenting, and stress. Through the Geropsychiatric Care Program, physicians and staff provide goal-oriented, intensive inpatient therapy focusing on both the psychiatric and medical needs of older adults. The Adult Psychiatric Program identifies, assesses and treats psychiatric problems in adults between the ages of 18 and 65 with psychiatric illnesses. Additional services include family education and aftercare groups.

In CHRISTUS St. Patrick's comprehensive Rehabilitation Services program, the physicians and professional staff work together to focus on helping improve the function of each patient to reach his or her full potential. The specially trained therapists provide evaluation, treatment, reassessment and education for inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies. The Regional Physical Rehabilitation Center is a comprehensive physical and cognitive rehabilitation program designed to help individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness.

Emphasizing prevention of disease, St. Patrick, a Children's Miracle Network hospital, collaborates with many public and private organizations to offer school-based health centers, health screenings and wellness programs.

With 275 physicians on staff, St. Patrick provides care in specialty areas such as diabetes treatment and education, intensive and emergency care, women's services, support programs and senior health programs.

Dubuis Hospital of Lake Charles, located within CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital, is a 25-bed facility that offers a comprehensive array of medical and nursing services for long-term, acute care patients.
